The month of Ramadan begins tonight at sundown! During this time, Muslims fast during the day and eat after sundown as a means of drawing closer to God and cultivating self-control, gratitude, and compassion for those less fortunate. This is one of the holiest times of year for Muslims and is a time of prayer, reflection, charity, and community. Ramadan commemorates the revelation of the Qur'an to the prophet Muhammad. Ramadan Mubarak to those who observe!
